Aboriginal people have utilized numerous plants for traditional purposes with Emu Bush (Eremophila Alternifolia) among the most prominent. 

Fresh leaves, poultices and infusions used as internal and external preparations relieved a variety of conditions. 

Emu bush has anti-inflammatory properties, antioxidant activities, antimicrobial effects, is a digestive aid, natural analgesic, has anti-allergic effects and may contribute to cardiovascular health. Some research indicates that it may even have Anti-diabetic effects. 

Emu Bush has compounds to control the bacteria that is responsible for tooth decay, in one study it concluded that Emu Bush exhibited moderate to potent antifungal activity against yeast and moulds such as cryptococcus, candida, aspergillus and other yeast species. 

Emu bush contains compounds that affect cardiac activity and chest pains, relieve headaches and halt diarrhea.

100% Wildcrafted loose leaf Emu Bush (Eremophila Alternifolia)

Suggested Use:

Fill a loose-leaf tea infuser with Emu Bush in a mug of boiling water, infuse for 5-10 mins.

The leaves can be used as a body wash to reduce fever, alternatively add some to bath water. 

Applied to the skin as a poultice for internal pain. 

Gargled to assist with bacteria.

Decoction to assist with colds, flu and headaches. 

Store in a dry, cool location out of direct sun
